I have a question about backlinks from site A to another site B: Does it make a difference if there is let's say one backlink from A to B or ten backlinks? Is it the more the better? Suppose I make 10 links with anchor-texts like "dog-animal", "cat-animal", "goat-animal" etc. Does it count 10 times for the keyword "animal"? And does it count for all the 10 different animals mentioned in these links?

I believe you only get "credit" for 1 link from 1 page - no matter how many times you repeat the same link . .

But I am not sure if the anchor text "adds" from multiple links on the same page?

Well I don't mean necessarily multiple backlinks from the same page, but from different pages of the same site. Do they all count?

I would like to know this also. There is a website that has 70 pages. My link has just been included in each one of those pages. They all have a PR4, and are indexed by google. Will each one of these backlinks help me, or since they are all from the same domain only count once instead of 78 times?
