Site size

Does size matter?

Most sites I manage contain 30 - 100 pages with main keywords repeated on most pages and 'secondary' keywords and phrases scattered throughout different pages. Most page titles are different and reflect the content of the pages. A couple of sites are holding sites and consist of one or two pages only.

I know of some sites that generate dynamically literally thousands of pages in the belief that this raises their profile in the SE.

Does site size affect ranking and positioning?

Yes... If the PR can get distributed, your core pages will benefit from a larger site. Also creates a larger web to catch visitors.

Judge me by my size, do you? Hmmm?

:P

As long as the pages have unique content, it will definitely help you. Look at sites like this one, experts-exchange, etc. They're always on the top of the search engines because they have THOUSANDS of pages of data, all different.
