I have asp pages and i turned them into html. The html pages are all indexed but i want to use the asp pages again but i dont want to get rid of the html becuase it helps my rankings. So im thinking of making a site map and listing all the html pages there but the user cant access it from anywhere else on the site as well as make the pages less optimized so they dont show up on keywords. So basically im going to switch back to asp but keep the html files in place. So my question Will the spider notice this? The dynamic content of the asp will be the same as the html pages.

Spiders can index simple asp pages. For example, if your url looks url.com/test.asp?template=1111, don't worry about it.

I know they can index asp pages. But if they do and they see my html pages which can only be reached through the sitemap are exact duplicates will that be bad for us.

Yes, duplicate content is frowned upon and can hurt your rankings.
