Is text at the bottom of page a problem?

I have a website that sells products. It is a "pretty" site that utilizes frames to display most of the content. Being "pretty" is important for this site because it sells pretty things. I know this isn't the best way but in my opinion it looks best this way and I like to keep things quick and to the point which isn't good for inserting all my keywords into the text within the frame. The home page consists of a frame which takes up most of the window. The frame is basically my site in the viewers eyes. Then there is text below the frame that can be seen if you scroll down. The text at the bottom is where search engines find all my keywords. I don't even think the search engines are cataloging the content within the frames. The text at the bottom is ALL very relevant to the site and I don't use any tricks like small or hidden text or hidden scrollbars. I don't try to deceive my viewers. The text at the bottom is well written and actually provides good information about my site if you actually read it. My site has been up for a while and searchbots don't see this text as spam. My site is starting to do well mainly because I have been working hard for hours and hours to get a bunch of good links but I am concerned that a passer by or competitor might consider the text at the bottom to be spam and report the site. That said, is this text considered spam by search engines? Thanks.

From your description it sounds okay, as it's intended to be read by your visitors. But, reading between the lines here a bit, I assume you wouldn't be asking if you were 100% sure and it was just a normal webpage. If it's a bit of a shameless excuse to dump keywords, like:

"People who searched for keyword1 may also be interested in keyword2 keyword3 keyword4 ...."

or

"Keyword1 London keyword1 Paris keyword1 New York"

then be careful. SE's may not be cracking down on it right now, but hopefully it's on their to-do lists for future updates.
