Web crawling, spidering etc

when and how?

Hi all, I am new to this forum so please be gentle!

My question is....how do i know if my site has been crawled or indexed etc and how can i tell how often this happens?

I have a few sites and I am getting to grips with the key word density and links in and out etc etc but the spidering and all that, i cant seem to find any info on (im probably looking in the wrong place lol)

I have paid for some inclusions and added some for free with varying results
