Am I on Page One or not?

HELLO,

Is anyone able to look outside the rather intellectual ‘Personalized Search Now Default’ debate and give me some practical feedback on a perennial issue: monitoring objectively my site's progress in natural G search listings.

If I visit G.co.uk or G.com I get one reading; and the G. Adword tool gives me a very different impression. Which is reality?

FYI, I'm sitting in Le Midi, avoiding using the G.fr page, but still not sure what you're seeing in the English-speaking world outside!

Cheers for your feedback,

B.

The best way is to view your stats. When you start seeing traffic from keywords you must be ranking for them. Any other data is purely for entertainment purposes. Keep working until you get to number one. After that keep doing the same thing because somebody else is working toward beating you out of your place.

What will you do when you find out where you rank? Will you stop doing SEO? Will you work harder on SEO?
