doorway pages?

They're obviously effective, but where do the search engines draw the line in deciding what can be used? If I have a bunch of pages targeting specific keywords and affiliate links to related products on those pages, are those pages considered doorway pages since I just want users to visit the affiliates and could care less if they navigate the entire site?

I did a little overview of doorway pages in the following thread, with some points relevant to your question. I think the engines do look at how well the page is integrated into the site, and in fact that's the crux of the matter.

If you keep the page inconspicuous, it's not going to do as well. If you try to hide it, you're liable to get into trouble.
