Will it affect rankings?

Hi,

I was wondering if I remove 1 non-relevant keyword out of the H1-tag on more then 200.000 indexed pages, will that have a negative impact on my google rankings?

For example:

Offer: Mercedes SLK 200 year 2000

If I remove "Offer:"

As a short term measure you could change it to:
Mercedes SLK 200 year 2000 Offer

It will change "something". You should test it on a small number pf pages and see what change it does have.

Who cares about 'rankings'? You should be looking at 'traffic'.

It means that the content of the H1 stays the same but you rank more for "Mercedes" rather than "Offer".

Ain't it better to remove "offer" out of the h1? Or is the risk lower when I move it to the end of the h1 title?

hmm, correction, the title with "offer" in is my H2-title, the H1 title is already without the "offer" in...

It might be best to make changes over time, but in the meantime at least "Offer" is moved out of the way.
