Friend's blog not showing up on google

I even submitted it manually to google, but it's not showing up at all. Are we allowed to post the link to the blog in quesiton?

You can do a quick check on Google like this:

site:http://www.example.com

That should list the page Google has indexed on the site. But there are other factors - it takes time, maybe it hasn't been crawled yet, and may it just hasn't established itself enough yet to be worthy of ranking.

Or if wordpress blog, could of ticked not visible to searh engines?
