HI guys, this my first post here!

Ok, I'm really starting out in this web promotion thing but have been reading your site all day.

Basically the site was designed by someone else, I only update.

It used to have a flash page as default.asp and a link on that to something.asp.

I got rid of the flash page and renamed something.asp to default.asp. However some people had bookmarked something.asp and I was going to set up a re direct.

Would I be better just putting a link on something.asp to default?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Webmaster World Johny.

I recommend setting up a 301(moved permanantly) redirect. This way, it will be removed from search engine listings.

This thread should help:
301 Redirect on Microsoft Server [webmasterworld.com]

Also here's a good tip for finding answers quickly:

Use Google's site-search mode by typing
site:www.webmasterworld.com redirect asp [google.com]
into the search field.
