I have been positioning one page for over a year only for testing purposes with some good results for quite competetive keywords.
I started selling my services recently and got my first client who wants to position his web page.
However he does not have any content on the first page. The owner of the page only wants to be on the first page and does not now and doesn't want to do anyting himself with the page. He does have some content inside that could be moved to the main page.
Let's make it worst let's say I would get a client with lot's of flash animations and navi bars in flash.
What are your strategies. Should I contact his webmaster and make them do the change. Or is it better to hire a webmaster to do the changes. I just want to concentrate on positioning aspect don't want to do webmastering myself.
What are your best practices?

If your client is being obstructive you have 2 options:
1) Gateway/satellite/cloaked pages (Dont knock them till you have made serious money using them!)
2) Find a better client. (If the starting attitude is one of negligence, it doesn't bode well for the future).
Thank you for your response, I am awaiting more sollutions, although this one is one of the alternatives.
At the moment I am thinking of moving some context myselft to the index page. Bulding site map and providing a navigation bar so I have some text and links to work on. So there is more context available.
