I have a US webhost with a .co.uk domain. I rank very well on google.com for my keywords, but rank quite badly on google uk.

I've set the geo location to uk in webmaster tools which reports that everything is fine.

I want to rank highly in UK searches, so should I be changing my webhost to one based in the UK?

What would be the serps implications for my site?

Thanks

Hello bode, and welcome to the forums.

Google issues are normally covered in the Google Search forum here - but in this case the topic has already been well covered in earlier discussions you can read on. See the Hot Topics area [webmasterworld.com], which is always pinned to the top of the Google Search forum's index page.

Ok thanks for the pointers. I'll get stuck into all that reading tomorrow!
