hi...

Is there any relationship between pagination and SEO?

I checked the dictionary and found four definitions for pagination. I can't for the life of me make any sense of it. If you mean by what name you call your web pages then yes there is a definite relationship between how you name your pages and SEO. For example, let's say you have two webpages with identical content. One webpage is named web-site-promotion.htm and will be rewarded for the keyphrase "web site promotion" more so than the other one illogically named 221bh.htm

Yes certainly. Can you be more specific as to what exactly it is that you are curious about? There are lots of potential questions and issues surrounding pagination, having to do with distribution of link equity, rankings, dup content, site quality, etc.

Generally the more specific and clear the question, the more likely it is that you will receive helpful responses. ;-)

Still a bit vague

Generally you paginate to split a large amount of content into more manageable chunks. This should mean each page has unique content.

I would be more concerned about duplicate titles and metas, where there are plenty of SEO issues to consider.

Finally, are you paginating a listing (e.g. an index, set of search results, HTML sitemap), or an actual article or other content
