Duplicate content problem

Here is my forum URL pattern:

http://forum.example.com/thread-1-2-3.html

1 = thread ID
2 = thread page number
3 = forum list page number

newer post created, original post on page 3 will goto page 4 and URL will change to:
http://forum.example.com/thread-1-2-4.html

different URL but some post content
(I cannot remove forum list page number on the URL, because I need this variable to bring me back to forum list page )

do anyone can give me some advices.

What software are you using? I haven't seen something like this in a long time, I'd suggest switching software.
