Hello,

Will spiders read the contents of comments, for example:

// This is the contents of comment 1
// Comment 2 contains many useful information
// Comment 3 show visitors what to do

/*
Important instructions are included in the comment
block. Why I am using so many comments because my
website is related with computer programming.
*/

Thanks and best regards

Alex

if it appears in the html then the spiders will read it.

if the comment blocks as displayed appear inside php tags then they will not appear in the html

it all depends, spidders takes them into account if the comments are not being blocked by the robots.txt file or appearing within HTML. One more thing, that comments always appeared dynamic, it is difficult for any spider to read it completly. I have blocked my site comment section by using robots.txt file.

thanks,
