Well, if you go to go.com or infoseek.com, you get their new interface.

**G blinks her eyes a few times**

Bright orange and red. Ick.

Anyone know if they changed anything other than just what it looks like?

I know, I don't care for it either. Real gawdy looking. There seems to be a trend towards pastel colors on the web. Being a guy - I don't care for this trend.

Pastel colors -- and by that I mean pale colors -- are at least easy on the eyes.

This orange and red thing they have is painful. I wrote them an email to their "Tell us what you think" address that I felt those colors in my spine.

Didn't know I was old enough to be vintage ;)

In internet years that bleeding eyes post was forever ago.

When I saw the new Go, I did some research. I also sent a nasty-gram to Go about the new look and limitations. The results are pretty similar, but they are pushing thier index now. You are also limited on when you are able to search within the returned results.

According to the return email I recieved, this is the way it is going to be. Because of my concerns over the new limited search capabilities, they suggested going to www.search.go.com. This is thier other choice, but it is not as good as the old Infoseek (IMHO).

I really hope they decide to change the colors, cause I will not be able to put up with Orange.

They've changed the search results, so that when you choose to search on the keywords you entered, and not go to one of the relevant categories they pull up for many searches, the results are no longer in alphabetical order. This is very good news.

To answer your question Marcia, a "nasty-gram" is when one sends an email that is less than complimentary, or more bluntly,
a gripe email.

Some other bulletin boards allow nasty-grams to be part of the posts. We do not. We try to live by the golden rule around here...treat others
as you want to be treated.

Marcia, Hope, if you haven't already been welcomed, Welcome to the forums.
