Hi,
I created a site 1 year ago where I had some original content along with some PLR articles. I included PLR articles because I wanted to provide a value to my visitors. All info at one place kind of idea.

But as things turned out, I think Google is penalizing me for having duplicate content. Last night I deleted all PLR articles and plan to substitute them with original articles, so that now my site will have only original content.

Will Google take notice of that and undo the penalty on my site so I get more traffic? and how long will it take.

Thanks

Is the site made up only of that (or mainly)? Hard to know if you're being penalized or not from the info provided, but I doubt it. More likely you're just not ranking because you're offering little in the way of unique, original value to users.

Which may also mean you don't have much of a backlink profile?

As with all sites, the more unique, interesting content you offer, and the better you do at marketing the site, the more traffic and links you'll get, and the better you'll rank over time as a result.
