Never heard of it, but they seem to be targeting a European audience. It is a meta search engine, very quick and ranks pages according to how often they appear on the first page of the 14 engines searched. Loved it (had #1 spot for keyword with 2,7 mill results). Thanks WebSpinner, you made my day.

I think it is using one of many free metasearch scripts offered on the web. A good way to offer search service for your own communities but not very sophisticated like the big engines.

It's using the metasearch engine IXQuick.com -- one of my favorites. They use such a simple but useful concept. Just award stars according to how many top ten positions a site has, and you need at least one top ten position to get listed.

I use IXQuick all the time to get "the lay of the land" when I take on a new client. Very cool to see an old friend in a new place. Thanks for the link!
