How to handle dynamic url?

I'm not sure how their finding it but google indexed the

http: //www.domain.com/index.php?category=320

in addition to

http: //www.domain.com/catname

so how can I handle this? I cant just check if its set and do a noindex cause that value gets passed with the catname..

cant just remove from google cause header wrong

I am sure I am getting a duplicate penalty for this..

Can you place a 301 redirect from www.domain.com/index.php?category=320 to www.domain.com/catname?
