New domain, What to do with it?

Hello,

I have a blog on my website it is at : ***.domain.com/blog

It is a real blog, not just a blog with links.

I just purchased a nice domain name ***.keywordblog.com.

It was available and with my major keyword in the domain name.

What should I do now to increase links to my website? Open a hosting account and transfert my blog to the new domain ( I will get sanboxed I guess ) and just do a redirect or agian a fake website with anchor links to my original blog(***.domain.com/blog)?

Start a new blog - keep the old one going. Blogroll, and occasionally, link from the old to the new.
