Multiple Domains on Same Server

I have at present 8 domains on a dedicated server. They are all offering similiar products and services but no sites are mirrored. They are all crosslinked internally and externally and I have been getting great results on Google, Fast and adequate results from AV. My question is can I be penalized by the search engines if they discover all on the same server? I assume they would find this out if the IP addresses are consecutive.Should I use more then one server? Am I being paranoid or is this something I should worry about? Thanks.

I have a few more than 8 per server and they are all interlinked as well. I have found that Google Loves this and can get stuck spidering my pages for days.

I have not had anything bad happen from this as each has its own IP address and some have similar products but all are sites of their own.

After spending so much time, money and effort to get the traffic I have now I just dont want to loose it. I guess I am just a little paranoid.You know the feeling when everything is going to well and you are wondering when the sky will start falling.Just needed to hear it from someone else.

I agree that google loves the crosslinking especially when they are text based with your keywords included. Also when the sites are similiar that seems to raise the relevance of my rankings.What kind of success have you had with AV and Fast?

I guess 8 to 10 sites per server should be ok and will not set off any alarms with Google, Fast or AV.

Av has been good to me but NOTHING on fast.. Never got in. Can't find what i am doing wrong. One day i will find it hehe
