dynamic site using a cms

Need some advice about dynamic site

Hi,
i have a static html site. I just spent money on adding a content management system which is in php and now gives dynamic urls. I know nothing about optimising dynamic sites for google.

Should i ditch the cms and stay with static pages or is there a way i ca work with this php?
