Sitemap xml and html?

I made a sitemap in html and made another sitemap in xml. I passed the sitemap.xml url to google and the sitemap.html to yahoo, is this wrong? both sitemap.html and sitemap.xml is uploaded on my server. Will i get in trouble for the redundancy? Thanks

Put the location of your sitemap in your robots.txt file:

Sitemap: [yoursite.com...]

Then use the sitemap.html on your site to help the spiders index your importnat content and pages.
