Hi all,

After the florida update i have started a new site and want to cut over from my old site.

Main thing is i like the design of the new site it has a colum down the left that looks sleek, but it only has a small room for quick links - i.e. short named versions.

My old site had keyword 'ATTENTION GRABBING' adds with href links around line 70 of my code, my new site can't fit them in as it is using a slimmer colum. (It's too much work to widen as it looks in proportion right now)

If I change all page links to keyword1-keyword2.htm and have something like nokeyword-description-read-more...(that links to the new keyword-named-pages)..will that have the same effect regarding keyword posisitioning? Im thinking robot's eyeview. - If this is ok, i'll just add 301 redirects to the old page names.

I had the same problem on one of my sites so I kept the short links on the left hand side of the page and then placed the full description links at the bottom of the page. It didn't cause me any problems with any SE.
