OK so we are getting some hits from 23rd place what now?

We have a 6 month old site. We have about 200 keywords that are bringing in most of our traffic. Our placement is somewhere between 20th to 30th place on most of them. We would be really happy at any small improvements in positions we can make.
What is the best way to increase our placement on those keywords?
