Is there any tracking tools free or paid that would be recommended?
I know google doesn't like crawlers looking at their serps, at least they didn't in the past, but could there exist tools that are a bit friendlier on the search queries?
I need to track serp page placement and improvement over time for keyword groups across multiple domains.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Thanks so much, This looks great for all other search engines and gives me the reports that I need, all except for Google.
I've taken a look at this and I keep running into the Google API Key problem as I don't have one. It looks like I can't do this on an auto basis as
1.) Google doesn't allow it.
2.) They have deprecated the only tool that is allowable to do this on a larger scale (1000 query limit)
If I do do this, I'll have to write something myself and run it somewhere else on a slow timed basis, but even then I think I'm getting into the grey area of their TOS.
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
