One of the areas I've considered is doing some SEO work. However, I'm fairly pessimistic about it (glass is half empty :) ). I know there's a ton of work involved, and I'm in an extremely competitive industry - not computers or travel but definitely one of the top 5. Plus I try to keep my costs low so that my independent one-person customers can afford the services.
Am I right to be pessimistic? Should I seriously consider this? Is there something else I should be considering to make my customer's online advertising efforts more stable/branched out?
I welcome you thoughts!
If you havn't already read this 12 Months [webmasterworld.com], this is a good place to start.
I believe that you can do a lot more SEO work on your sites than you think you can. Reading the postings here and asking questions will do wonders for your sites.
Good Luck,

I think if you are to make it work it is an awful lot of work and therefore cost to charge. Maybe there are quicker ways of doing things that I don't know about?
