Do keywords in the domain matter? How about in the url?

Say I want a site for selling hats and gloves... all other things being equal, is hatsandgloves.ext a better domain off the bat than mycompany.ext?

Is there a difference between the following URLS?
1. [hatsandgloves.ext...]
2. [hatsandgloves.ext...]

If starting afresh,

http: hats-and-gloves.ext/hats/sombrero.html

will be better than

http: hatsandgloves.ext/products/id.html

But the advantage really is very small; not worth getting too excited about. If the site already exists, the effort and risks of changing are not justified by the tiny benefit that may exist (cool URIs don't change).
