hi.. can anybody tell me how crawler treats flash area on a webpage? can crawler read the text inside the flash area? n what about the links inside the flash area?

Google says they can pick up the links inside a swf file and my research shows they can.
However none of the engines are good at reading the content in a flash file. You are better off also creating an html version of the page for search engines AND visitors that don't want to mess with flash.

thanks..... but how can we create 2 copies of a single page. crwaler will consider them as duplicate pages and can report them as spam....right?

nope. They will be different since the crawler can't read the flash page...only the html version of the page.
On your flash page, just put a link to the HTML version.
