I am going away for the summer and would like to concentrate on 1 website and write 2 quality articles per day.

There are 2 main sites in my niche that are pr7's. Google shows around 200 and 300 backlinks for them.

To look at they are nothing but something must be working there right.

Ok question is this. Do I submit to the search engines now and upload the 2 new pages each day then in 6 months time be happy.

OR

Should I write all the articles and upload them say once per month?

As well as gradually getting links myself.

Your thoughts guys.

First of all, don't 'submit' to the search engines. Get a few decent backlinks from external sites and let the SE's find you on their own. That's what you want.

And absolutely get links to the sites now, build you content over time, build you links over time, and let the SE's take it all in. The SE's will see your site growing naturally and gaining links gradually over time and your site will be rewarded for it.

Thanks for the advice. Its just that the site has a big homepage with lots of links and there is not enough content to fill those links at the moment.

What would you advise in this instance.

Cant get rid of the links at the moment as they add to the general design of the homepage.
