Hi all - using the Google toolbar, and it's cache, to see what version of a page Google currently has in it's index, (or if it has it at all yet) is wonderfully useful.

I was wondering if there is any convenient way to see the same thing with MSN? or indeed, the other major engines?

many thanks in advance

Hello dorjesempa, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Google is the only major search engine with a public available cache, so MSN doesn't have that function. There are a few smaller search engines like Gigablast that allow you to see the cache.

You can go to search [dot] positiontech [dot] com and then search for "domain:mydomain.com"

While I presume this really shows everything from Inktomi's database, that is basically the equivalent of saying that is shows everything in MSN.

Hi - many thanks bmcgee for your kind reply - I've taken a look at the url you suggest ... and it does seem to provide exactly the information you suggested. This is really useful indeed.

Once again ... thanks :-)
