Hello Everyone - With my online store I get the option to either set individual meta tags for each of my Jewellery products, or I can set them globally for all pages. Does anyone have any good advice, as to which way I should go? To change them all individually would be a pain, but obviously something I will do if it will increase my sites positions in search engines.

Currently I have generic keywords which cover the range of products I stock. e.g. silver jewellery, artisan jewellery, bracelets, necklaces.......etc..

Any advice is grealty appreciated.

Thanks

Peter.

Welcome [webmasterworld.com] to Webmaster World, peanutp.

Title and description elements are one of the first things Google looks at to determine if pages should be filtered as duplicate content, so best practice is to use unique title elements, unique meta description elements and, for some like me, unique meta keyword elements.
