Hi everyone,

I have an OSCommerce site with two seperate dynamic links to a product description. I've recently installed a contribution which has one single link to a product and is a static HTML page.

Over the last year I've made two major revisions to my site, which has caused a lot of time being out of SE Indexes - presumably in the sandbox.

To increase the speed for re-indexing, I want to disallow crawlers using Robots.txt for a couple of week period and then re-allow them access.

Does anyone know if this will be sucesful. Will it speed up the overall process, or will I end up in G's sandbox?

Any ideas on how best to achieve SE's coming back and re-indexing quicker grately received.

If you think you've been banned, probably the best thing to do is nothing. Nothing as in seek no new links, and keep your content from any new "spammy" techniques.

About all you can do is use google webmaster tools to see the last time your site was indexed.
