i have an issue..

i own a www.domain.com , i have created subdomains, each has its own www.domainname.com redirect.. that i purchased as a registered name and have pointing to my subdomains, simply so that when someone types in www.domainname.com it ends up at my subdomain. ok..simple enough... now... how the heck do i make search engines find them! ive tried for
6 months now..no luck at all... i have done several good
engine submits.. but only in the redirect url name... not the subdomain name. WHAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS , thank you.
i have metal tags..and keywords..ect...

Hi spike,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

There must be several reasons for this. First forget about meta tags, they are useless. Focus on visible content.

Only one major search engine will index your site for free, and it's Google (about 70 % of market share). For the others, you must pull the plastic. Google likes links to your site, and other stuff [webmasterworld.com]. Make sure your sub domains have sufficient content to meet directories standards and submit them.

There is also a good faq page [webmasterworld.com] about it here.

Please be more descriptive about what was done, we need more specific details in order to help.

If you are not in a hurry, please consult the library [webmasterworld.com], all the good stuff is stored there.

Good luck!
