Folks (including words from Google) used to say what is good for users is good for search engine promotion. AJAX is definitely good for users but is it good for SEO?

Yeah none of the text is going to be spidered, but it can be good if you have a short focused article and you want to insert data or whatever below it i.e affiliate content that you don't want indexed for duplication reasons.
