Hi Guys,
One of my clients have several domains (all real estate related) and a site currently runnung on one of them. He wants me to create micro-sites on those othe domains for different KW's. My idea is to have folders for different categories (mysite.com/category1/) caus with this way we will have a bigger site with lots of content.

Whats your say. Shall I go with his idea and piont links from the micro sites to the present one or create new pages on the present site under different folders?

jfrank, I just answered a question about this very same thing this week in another thread (but would have to dig to find it), but long story short for your case, real estate is historically one of the most spammed_out spaces on the internet, if not actually the *worst* of all. So maybe it would help to think in terms of how either strategy would appear in the eyes of a search engine spam team member manually reviewing the sites, and how it would appear in their eyes.

Think about it realistically from that perspective, and you'll have your answer.

Added:

You wouldn't fool me or anyone else even a little bit, the sites would all easily appear to be inter-connected with nothng more than a "related sites" search. Would there appear to be a legitimate reason for there to be separate sites? And from a practical standpoint, would you be able to get inbound anchor text links for each one of them? And is the client willing to pay for link development services for multiple sites?
