Hello all,

I know how important the fisrt 5-10 lines of text are on my pages, title/h1/description/keywords etc for the searchengines, but i desperately want to place site searchbox at the top right of all my pages.

Because the searchbox code it is at the top/beginning of the page the engines will spider this code which will take more weight off the important title/text/keywords etc that i want them to crawl.

Question:
If i use <noindex> - </noindex> directly before and after my searchbox code will this help any and will there be any negative effects?

thanks

Might want to look into CSS absolute positioning.
