What constitutes spamming?

I'm on the horns of a dilemma and would welcome and appreciate some feedback from you experts on here...

If, for example, I'm running a dating site and the content of the homepage is built around four or five key phrases, all of which contain the word 'dating', should I list the keywords as:-

A) internet dating, online dating, computer dating, dating service

or

B) dating, internet, online, computer, service

Basically, what I'm asking is that could the four time repetition of the word 'dating' in the keywords list (example A above) be a spamming offence?

I have done the repetitive method many times and never had any trouble.

generally acccepted is the rule of 3... more then 3 times the same word is supposed to be considerd as spamming...
