I have a customer that has siteX:
SiteX is dynamic, and the customer wants to track everything as if it like an affiliate system because of their system they have.
I am doing their SEO based on Performance of how many register.
So I am thinking of setting up a new site(SiteZ) (with new domain seperate of my clients) I would optimize it and promote the SiteZ and have links that lead to the SITEX. It will be all human content and basically talk about the size and allow a bit of interaction. SO it would not being software generated at all, I don't do that stuff.
Does this type of Optimization work and do you recommend it, or will it take some time to optimize and will I be banned for doorway page?
Any suggestions would be helpful
Thanks

[edit reason] No sigs please ;) [/edit]
It sounds more like you've essentially got to build an affiliate site with content that will rank on its own merits in order to feed this guy traffic.
As long as the SE's don't see this a doorway I will try it. I am just a bit convened about the doorway thing.
dwenterprise - The term doorway is a very vague term and has been used in a lot of different ways. Take a look various comments about doorways on this thread... not precisely what you're asking about, but it might be helpful...
When is a door not a door?
When it's ajar. But seriously - about doorway pages...

The main thing you don't want to do is to redirect doorway pages to your main site. That can indeed get you in trouble. Simply linking one site to another is the essence of the web.
When the sites are related, though, by virtue of common hosting or common linking neighborhoods, or lots of cross-linking, then you get into issues that can also lead to problems.
