Getting Targeted traffic and links is easy you can pay money and get them but what is the secret that will make those vistors customers. If your website is new then you definately do not have the advantage of highly reputed online business site, so what makes the other sites so sucessful

Put your best page on your highest traffic url.
Now change that page a little.
Put a unique counter/monitor on the original and the new page.
Now rotate the original with the changed page.

Track which one performs better.

Once you determine which page is the best, change it again and do the same thing over.

This is called a-b, Split, or dueling page testing. It is one of the best ways to find what works and doesn't work.
