So ive been a webmaster for years! Im interested in others Information about gaining real traffic, to a real content site....and would love everyones input!

SEO Tricks
and Blogging....Any other Usefull Tips?

Change -FFA submission- with -interactivity- and your list will be complete in terms of free and spam-free promotion.

Getting a DMOZ listing will help, if only by ensuring that you'll be crawled by the various search engines.

Getting links from established sites on your topic will also help. (Of course, you'll need to have worthwhile content--content that would have intrinsic value even without AdSense--to get such links.)

FFAs, SEO tricks, and other shortcuts are likely to get you in trouble with the search engines, so they're counterproductive at best.

I've found that writing articles about my topic and submitting them to article sites has worked really well. I think this is a good approach for small and relatively unknown sites... although you should be sure to submit to article sites that link to your site, not just reproduce the content and/or frame it!

You might want to try getting listed in smaller targeted directories, as well as the larger ones.
