Implications of page not found error for FAST & Inktomi Search Engines

I recntly submitted some pages from my website to FAST and Inktomi through PositionTech. About 2 weeks after i had submitted them i noticed the pages had been removed from the server (by accident). I managed to get them re-uploaded as soon as i had noticed but by that time my positionTech accounts were saying 'page not found' error. I now have noticed that most of my listings within FAST and Inktomi fed engines have dropped out. My positiontech account shows some click through data for the submitted pages so they were initially included.

I was just wanting to know if anyone knows of anything i can do to rectify this problem or should i just wait until FAST and Inktomi spiders come back to visit my site and find these pages are back up.

And also will i get penalised for the pages being down as this is part of the terms and conditions of submissions or will they be listed as normal?

Thanks for any help

Hmmm, odd PositionTech hasn't found them again. I guess I'd just try using the 'change url' option. You should have 30 days from when you submitted to do this. I think that would get your site spidered within 48 hours again.

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, but have you tried e-mialing or calling them to ask what yo should do? I've gotten e-mail responses from them pretty fast before.
