We have recently (2 months back) launched a website it is dynamic based on .net platform with .aspx extension. Google indexed my entire site within 1 month. However MSN has not indexed it yet. It has only indexed the home page, sitemap (which is static .html), privacy policy and about us. What surprises me is the Privacy policy and About Us pages are dynamic i.e. page.aspx?page=privacy. They have been crawled and none other pages have been crawled MSN crawled the same 40 - 50 days back. Also Altavista has only indexed the home page 1-2 weeks back.
When will MSN, Altavista etc index my site I do not think there is problem with the META etc as google has indexed my entire site.
Also do indexing of MSN, Altavista etc boost the traffic as all the searches are done mostly on Google.

Hi Morpheus,

Ink's Slurp (which currently powers much of MSN) is a funny little bot sometimes. Hard to get it to do exactly what you want, when you want. If paid submission is an option, it's worth consdidering. If not, I'd try to get some more links from pages that are already in Ink's index. Even better if you can get those links to point to your deeper pages that haven't been spidered yet.

Have you submitted all your pages to AV? That's the 1st step w/them.

yes, it can boost your traffic.

I agree with you. Something of this sort happened with one of my client and sorry to say but my client beleived that HTMLizing the website would best solve the problem. He tested by creating an HML copy of the website using a tool and then he uploaded it on a new domain and hand submitted his website to some search engines like he did for the main domain.

Even today, his main website is not that good ranked as that HTML website.
