Welcome to webmasterworld:)
I'd like to help you but we are not supposed to place links
to other sites for advertising i think.
You can run a search: try searching with keyword-> adwords
As far as a strategy: 1. ->Search engine optimize(seo) your webpages. 2.-> Use a lot of good content on your pages. No duplicated content. All your own original content. 3.-> A good linking campaign. Don't just link to anyone, be very picky. Before linking to the site in question, review it carefully and see how it handles it's own advertising and optimization of it's own pages. In other words if it uses bad seo tactics such as spamming on it's pages or having way too many links on it's linking partner pages. If they do that, chances are they are not good to link to.
It would be best to stick around here and learn Search engine optimization. Once you learn it, you can get Free advertising through the search engines.(organic listings/free listings)
That is of course once you learn how to correctly perform it
and get your site to the 1st page results of the search engines so people can see your site:)
Well, that's it. Good luck tanya25:)

And finally, there's a lot more than Adwords. Try this classic thread, as an example:
Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone - 26 steps to 15k a day [webmasterworld.com]
For example, let's say your site is about childcare (just a randomly chosen topic). Offer information articles about childcare, first aid tips, kids recipes, safety tips, interview tips, services ratings, etc. Write articles for other websites, so they will link to you. Encourage your visitors to link back to your site.
PPC can definitely help drive traffic to your site quickly, but it pays to learn more about how to do it before you begin. <snip>
The two biggest PPC engines are currently Google AdSense and Yahoo Search Marketing.
The most important thing to remember about PPC is to a thorough job of keyword research before you launch your campaign. It is an absolutely vital step that can save you a lot of money.
