I have a website that has literally millions of words held in a database. How do you feel I can effectively get rankings for these terms by exposing the pages without having too many pages? I can get 5 thousand entries on one page - but then we are looking at roughly 80 thousand pages.

Not to mention the thousands of other pages we have...

Right now we have it broken down to 200,000 pages, and I don't think they are effectively getting indexed.

are you suggesting spamming search engines with page listings of WORDS ONLY?

Or are these words part of text composed in articles?

Google just banned (and still has heaps of work remaining) some x-millions of pages for spamming their robots with pages that merely list words as opposed to legitimate composed text.

In any event! Your question should be addressed to either a PHP, MySQL or ASP group as opposed to search engine references.

Okay, that's a start. Now, do you have written content to intermingle those words into?

It's all about using the content from the database (the variables) and building content from that.

If you are referring to just putting words on a page without any structure, it's not going to work. Well, it might in some instances but I wouldn't suggest it. ;)
