I made a Custom Navigation Bar in Adobe Macromedia Fireworks. For the main categories they are Gif then when you hover over the main category it drops down all of the html sub categories. The Gif files go to the Main category web pages as well, but my question is are these search engine friendly will Google be able to crawl through this? Thank You

It mostly depends on how javascript is used, so check your source code directly. If javascript is used only to change the visibility of various divs, then it can be spidered (although text links are better than gifs).

However, if javascript is used for the href in the links, then you have an obstacle to indexing.
