Too many HTML pages in SE?

How many is enough to get kicked out?

Hello all,

I'm new to SEO, but I'm making some good progress in promoting my site. What I've done so far is made thousands of HTML pages with each of them being nothing but a welcome page that caters to a certain keyword. Then I placed links to those HTML pages on my homepage which is often crawlled by GoogleBot and other bots. Google has sucked in about 15,000 of those pages so far.

How can this hurt me? Can Google kick me out for this at one point? If so - how come so many others are doing it fine and is there a way around it ( I've heard of CLOAKING ).

Thank you!

Doorway pages--not a good idea according to Google's Webmaster guidelines. [google.com]

Your domain could be penalized
Yes
It works for some sometimes
You could make your doorways actual destination pages. Additionally, cloaking holds no guarantee of permanent protection.
