well I have a site at [snip].com and was wondering if this was ok to do at [snip].net.
Obviously the [snip] is a good keyword for me so I am interested in hooking it up. I dont know alot about search engines and am trying to learn on this awesome forum but I really need opinions or Ideas.

Problem 1 [snip].com has oscommerce on it= Search engines dont like so I figured I would set up a secondary site like [snip].net to pull in search engine resources.

[snip].com is indexed
[snip].net is not
any help would be greatly appreciated
I obviously didnt spend alot of time on the design of [snip] i just wanted to know if this type of setup was allowed.

fraternal,

Welcome to WW. Like many, you are king of the [snips] on your first post;)...don't let that put you off, but reading the TOS might be a good idea:)

Go for the multiple domains....make them totally indepentant with unique content. There is no law that says Wal*Mart and Sam's can't share the same mall;)

Welcome to WW fraternal! get some unique content for both the domains. Don't use same copy and if you do, put a robots.txt to disallow indexing of other domain to prevent being penalized.
