Have you come across any threads on tackling
SEO issues for a large organisation (as opposed
to a new business from scratch)? For example,
a large organisation who already has multiple
SEO agents but are unhappy with them & want
a sole in-house SEO executive - what initial
steps should the new executive take to address
poor existing SEO across the organisation's
websites?

Any help would be great.

Evaluate. Get a detailed picture on the status quo. Set your goals. Develop a strategy to accomplish. Then see who can do what.

Hi,

that's exactly what I do.

Get executive sponsorship!

First - get it added to the marketing mix if it already isn't
second - evaluate site
third - evaluate existing standards
fourth - gap analysis
fifth - recommendation

send me a sticky for a deeper discussion.

Yes. I do SEO and Link Building and I have worked with companies who spend over 10k per month on SEO.

Experiece working with them is good. They pay for performance and I did lot of work for the for over 6 months and the I had more work then I could handle.

Lost the contract. But last week, they contacted me again and they need to hire me again. They hired some crap and their PR went down from PR7 to PR4. I will be back with them next week.

:-)

If you do good, all small / big guys need you.
