There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding the SALSA system at the moment in the UK and many of our clients are asking us about it. I know that SALSA uses 'cloaking' to improve rankings and that this may be risky in terms of potential bans from engines like AltaVista and Google. Does anyone have experience of it or can shed light on the pros and cons of using this method?

Well if you do a search for Top-Pile on Google, Inktomi and AllThe Web, you won't find it. Which should give you a fairly clear idea of how they view it.

Anytype of Cloaking or Spamming ultimately goes off. One day or the other.
It's always better staying away from it. Although it seems to be very lucrative in the short run....!
This should be explained to the clients and most of the times they understand....
